A warm buttery yellow base disappears under a dense tropical jungle in cool blues. Broad monstera leaves and slender palm fronds in denim, cornflower and steel blue overlap across every panel, filling the front, back, sleeves and collar with an all-over print. Scattered through the greenery are big open hibiscus blooms in magenta, candy pink and soft blush, clusters of small white frangipani with yellow centres, and a few pale blue orchids that fade back into the leaves.
Repeating across the whole shirt is a cut-out photo of a laughing woman, mid-laugh with her head tilted back, each one framed by a curved arc of block capitals in deep navy with a purple-violet outline that hugs the top of her head like a halo. The faces sit at slightly different angles and sizes so the repeat never lines up in rows, and several land right where a pink hibiscus opens up behind them. There is a left chest pocket cut to match the print, and coconut-brown buttons down the front placket. It was made for a milestone birthday celebration, the kind where the whole group turns up wearing the guest of honour's face.
Every shirt is made from Performance Stretch, a lightweight polyester and spandex blend that is wrinkle-free and moisture-wicking, ideal for active events and outdoor days.

How to measure: spread your best-fitting shirt out flat. Length runs from the shoulder point beside the collar to the bottom edge; chest width goes underarm to underarm, buttons done up. No shirt handy? Run a tape round your chest at its widest, add 10–15 cm and halve it — that's the chest width to look for. Questions? Email support@thehulahut.com.au and we'll sort you out.

Between two ages? Go the bigger one — kids shoot up fast and they'll get more wear out of it. Sizes go by age, 2 to 12.

How much do custom Hawaiian shirts cost?
$45 each for 10–29 shirts, $40 for 30–59 and $35 for 60–99 (AUD). Ordering 100+? Contact us for a sharper deal. Free design service, no hidden costs — shipping is calculated at checkout.
What’s the minimum order?
10 shirts per design — mix adult and kids’ sizes within those 10.
How long does it take?
Allow 3–4 weeks from artwork approval to your door — usually about 4 weeks, 3 at the fastest; allow up to 1 extra week in peak season. Production takes 10–12 business days and shipping 5–8, with tracking sent once it ships. There is no separate express tier — tell us your event date and we’ll confirm what’s realistic.
Can I change this design or add my logo?
Yes. Order it as is, or tell us what to change in the notes — your logo, names, faces or colours. Our designers send a free mockup and revise it until you’re happy; nothing is printed until you approve.
What sizes are available?
Unisex XS–5XL (with a chest pocket) and kids 2–12 (no pocket), cut for Australian bodies. Between two sizes? Go up one — nobody tries on before a team order, so a bit of spare room is the safe bet.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes — order 1–2 shirts in different sizes to check the fit across your group before the full run. For orders over 50 shirts we often waive the sample fee. Email support@thehulahut.com.au to arrange one.
Where do you deliver?
Australia-wide, with tracking. Outside Australia? Get in touch with your delivery address and quantity and we’ll let you know what we can arrange.
What if something’s wrong with my order?
Manufacturing defects — misprints, colour inconsistencies or construction faults — are reprinted at no charge. Let us know within 14 days of delivery with photos and we’ll fast-track the replacements.
