A bright white Hawaiian shirt scattered with a cartoon-style holiday print in hot pink and lime green. Leaning palm trees with pink ribbed trunks and spiky lime fronds, curling breaking waves, and little cruise liners with tiered decks and a funnel sit across the whole shirt, front, back and sleeves. The motifs are spaced evenly with plenty of white between them and tilt at slightly different angles, so the pattern reads playful rather than regimented.
Tucked between the tropical elements is a splatter-shaped emblem in magenta pink, the kind of paint-splash blob with rounded drips around the edges, carrying a graffiti-style monogram in lime green at its centre and a thin handwritten line of black lettering running along the underside. The same splash motif repeats at a smaller scale on the sleeves and around the collar, and the shirt has a plain white chest pocket that breaks the pattern. It was made for a performing arts centre taking a group cruise, and the loud pink and green pairing has the feel of a stage crew on holiday.
Every shirt is made from Performance Stretch, a lightweight polyester and spandex blend that is wrinkle-free and moisture-wicking, ideal for active events and outdoor adventures.

How to measure: spread your best-fitting shirt out flat. Length runs from the shoulder point beside the collar to the bottom edge; chest width goes underarm to underarm, buttons done up. Between two ages? Go the bigger one — kids shoot up fast and they'll get more wear out of it. Sizes go by age, 2 to 12.

How much do custom Hawaiian shirts cost?
$45 each for 10–29 shirts, $40 for 30–59 and $35 for 60–99 (AUD). Ordering 100+? Contact us for a sharper deal. Free design service, no hidden costs — shipping is calculated at checkout.
What’s the minimum order?
10 shirts per design — mix adult and kids’ sizes within those 10.
How long does it take?
Allow 3–4 weeks from artwork approval to your door — usually about 4 weeks, 3 at the fastest; allow up to 1 extra week in peak season. Production takes 10–12 business days and shipping 5–8, with tracking sent once it ships. There is no separate express tier — tell us your event date and we’ll confirm what’s realistic.
Can I change this design or add my logo?
Yes. Order it as is, or tell us what to change in the notes — your logo, names, faces or colours. Our designers send a free mockup and revise it until you’re happy; nothing is printed until you approve.
What sizes are available?
Unisex XS–5XL (with a chest pocket) and kids 2–12 (no pocket), cut for Australian bodies. Between two sizes? Go up one — nobody tries on before a team order, so a bit of spare room is the safe bet.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes — order 1–2 shirts in different sizes to check the fit across your group before the full run. For orders over 50 shirts we often waive the sample fee. Email support@thehulahut.com.au to arrange one.
Where do you deliver?
Australia-wide, with tracking. Outside Australia? Get in touch with your delivery address and quantity and we’ll let you know what we can arrange.
What if something’s wrong with my order?
Manufacturing defects — misprints, colour inconsistencies or construction faults — are reprinted at no charge. Let us know within 14 days of delivery with photos and we’ll fast-track the replacements.
