A deep navy blue Hawaiian shirt covered edge to edge in a tropical orchid print. Large cream and ivory orchids with deep burgundy throats and soft golden-tan shading open across the body, sleeves and back, threaded through with dusty mauve blade leaves and layered over a darker tone-on-tone palm frond backdrop that sits just a shade lighter than the base. The flowers repeat in a loose, painterly scatter rather than a neat grid, so the print carries right across the front placket, over the shoulders and down the back with no gaps.
Tucked among the blooms are cut-out photo faces of the birthday guest of honour, each one grinning with tongue out and repeated at a playful tilt so a new one appears wherever your eye lands, including one sitting front and centre on the chest pocket. Scattered between them is a milestone age number printed in a clean white sans-serif, dropped into the navy gaps around the chest, sleeves, hem and back so it reads clearly against the dark ground. Coconut-brown buttons and a matching open camp collar finish it off. It was made as a matching set for a milestone birthday group, the kind of thing a whole party wears at once.

How to measure: spread your best-fitting shirt out flat. Length runs from the shoulder point beside the collar to the bottom edge; chest width goes underarm to underarm, buttons done up. No shirt handy? Run a tape round your chest at its widest, add 10–15 cm and halve it — that's the chest width to look for. Questions? Email support@thehulahut.com.au and we'll sort you out.

Between two ages? Go the bigger one — kids shoot up fast and they'll get more wear out of it. Sizes go by age, 2 to 12.

How much do custom Hawaiian shirts cost?
$45 each for 10–29 shirts, $40 for 30–59 and $35 for 60–99 (AUD). Ordering 100+? Contact us for a sharper deal. Free design service, no hidden costs — shipping is calculated at checkout.
What’s the minimum order?
10 shirts per design — mix adult and kids’ sizes within those 10.
How long does it take?
Allow 3–4 weeks from artwork approval to your door — usually about 4 weeks, 3 at the fastest; allow up to 1 extra week in peak season. Production takes 10–12 business days and shipping 5–8, with tracking sent once it ships. There is no separate express tier — tell us your event date and we’ll confirm what’s realistic.
Can I change this design or add my logo?
Yes. Order it as is, or tell us what to change in the notes — your logo, names, faces or colours. Our designers send a free mockup and revise it until you’re happy; nothing is printed until you approve.
What sizes are available?
Unisex XS–5XL (with a chest pocket) and kids 2–12 (no pocket), cut for Australian bodies. Between two sizes? Go up one — nobody tries on before a team order, so a bit of spare room is the safe bet.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes — order 1–2 shirts in different sizes to check the fit across your group before the full run. For orders over 50 shirts we often waive the sample fee. Email support@thehulahut.com.au to arrange one.
Where do you deliver?
Australia-wide, with tracking. Outside Australia? Get in touch with your delivery address and quantity and we’ll let you know what we can arrange.
What if something’s wrong with my order?
Manufacturing defects — misprints, colour inconsistencies or construction faults — are reprinted at no charge. Let us know within 14 days of delivery with photos and we’ll fast-track the replacements.
